The Garden of the Heart
In the countryside of Thailand, surrounded by rice fields and open sky, we are starting something simple called Suan Jai, which means “the heart’s garden.” It is a place where animals that have nowhere else can be fed, sheltered, and safe.

The land is here, but most of the work is still ahead. Fences need to go up. Shelters need to be built. Food has to be bought. A few animals are already here and cared for, and we know more will come. Some abandoned. Some hurt. Some just hungry.

Our hope is that Suan Jai can grow into more than just an animal refuge. Over time, it may also be a quiet space for people who need rest. Not as customers or seekers, but as people who need a break from pressure. No programs. No schedules. Just stillness, open air, and the company of animals and trees.

Every bit of support goes straight into the basics: feeding the animals, building fences, repairing shelters, and looking after the land.

If this speaks to you, any contribution helps turn Suan Jai from a beginning into a lasting refuge.
