The Vault

This is where we meet.

There is a world of difference between understanding something and discovering it for yourself. You can read about freedom, speak beautifully about surrender, and recognize the movements of the self in almost everything you encounter. And still, when life touches something dear to you, you may find yourself caught in the very world you believed you had seen through.

Now imagine having people in your life with whom none of this needs to be hidden. People who are interested in the truth of what is happening, who can meet you without having to agree with you, and who are willing to bring their own lives into the same inquiry.

This is something I want to cultivate through the Vault. We already have enough places where people exchange spiritual knowledge and compare their understanding. I am interested in what happens when we begin to know one another, when there is enough trust to leave our familiar positions behind, and when we allow the inquiry to reach beyond the subjects we originally came to discuss.

And I want us to enjoy one another! We can laugh at the absurdity of being human, become fond of each other, have wonderful conversations that lead absolutely nowhere, and discover that love sometimes reaches places all our clever investigations have failed to touch. There is no need to make a solemn occupation out of liberation.

I will meet you as you are, and I ask that you bring that same willingness to meet. We have no shortage of things to discover, and I have no intention of pretending to know in advance what every encounter will bring.

Inside the Vault

We meet live twice a month, with gatherings scheduled for different time zones. Membership also includes the longer Vault writings and investigations, recordings of previous meetings, and ongoing conversation with me and other members.
