How to work together
This page outlines the ways to engage with this work and what each mode involves. There is no required path or progression. Engagement is self-directed. The intention here is simple: to offer clear forms of contact around material that can be subtle, destabilizing, and difficult to hold alone. The work itself is the filter. This page is the map.
Modes of Engagement
There are three primary ways to engage:

-
Reading and writing
-
Ongoing relational context
-
Direct 1:1 inquiry

Each mode carries different levels of intensity, continuity, and responsibility.

Reading and Writing (Substack)
Most engagement happens through writing. Essays and longer-form pieces explore awakening, identity, collapse, groundlessness, and ordinary life after familiar reference points dissolve. Some pieces are analytical. Others are experiential. Many are written from inside ongoing inquiry rather than from a resolved position.

Substack is structured in three tiers:

1) Free Subscription
Public essays and notes. Open access. No closed material or relational context.

2) Vault Membership
Long-form writing and archived material. Occasional recordings of open conversations. This tier is primarily for sustained reading.

3) Patron of the Fire
A longer-term relational context layered on top of Vault. Includes everything in Vault, plus material not published broadly and periodic closed conversations.
Continuity here is not primarily about the added content; it's about the mirror held across time. Subtle reconstitutions, avoidance patterns, and unconscious stabilizations often become visible only through sustained contact. For many, this longitudinal context becomes the most revealing part of the work.

This tier is for people who want continuity and context over time.

On Continuity
Awakening and collapse are rarely single events. Recognition appears, shifts, settles, destabilizes, and reorganizes in subtler forms. These movements are easy to misread in isolation. Across time, patterns become clearer.

Certain patterns are especially difficult to see alone. Subtle reconstitutions of identity, quiet avoidance, and unconscious stabilization often feel like clarity from the inside. Clear mirrors, meaning other people who are not invested in maintaining your narrative, make these movements visible.

Continuity creates temporal context and relational reflection. It allows inquiry to unfold in conversation rather than as isolated moments of interpretation. This structure functions as a mirror and a pressure container held across time.

1:1 Inquiry Conversations
Before requesting 1:1 inquiry, consider:
What in my experience feels settled, and what might I be unwilling or unable to see on my own?
Direct conversations are available for exploring how awakening, collapse, and interpretation are unfolding in lived experience.

These are structured inquiries focused on clarity and seeing patterns across time.

Single Session
A one-off inquiry or clarification.

Monthly Inquiry Arc
A time-bound series of weekly conversations over a month.

Extended Inquiry Arc
Longer-term continuity for those already familiar with this terrain.
Availability is limited.

Closed Groups and Time-Bound Containers
From time to time, small groups or cohorts are hosted for people already deep in this terrain. These are inquiry-focused and time-limited. Entry may require prior relationship or application.

Boundaries and Responsibility
Engaging this work can shift how identity, meaning, and orientation are experienced. Participation is voluntary and self-directed. This is not therapy or mental health care. If destabilization becomes overwhelming, seek appropriate support outside this work.
