The Faces That Inspired the Sanctuary
When I first arrived here, I didn’t come with a plan. Life had just stripped away everything I thought I was, and I came to Thailand to rest—just to be. But in the quiet, they began to appear. One by one. Thin, limping, covered in old scars. Some kept their distance. Others walked straight up with eyes that said more than words ever could.

I didn’t come here to start a sanctuary. But something in them reached something in me. A quiet knowing. A pull to care. Not out of duty—but because it felt impossibly right.
These are a few of the lives that showed up before anything else was built. Before there was a vision. Before there was a name. And in a way, this place is theirs.
